VV-1902 · Pre-warDemo
1936 Raleigh Roadster
£890
Bristol · Honest project · 56 cm
Still black, still with its chaincase, and not pretending to be new.
1936, still black, still with its chaincase and its rod brakes. The Sturmey-Archer clicks through three gears if you ask it gently. This is not a restoration. The plating is tired in the honest places.
Tom Adeyemi in Bristol will not pretend the tyres are new. They are not. They hold air. The bicycle is offered as a project only in the sense that someone will want to keep going, not because it is a wreck.
